Daria Dergacheva

journalist

I am a journalist and editor based in London and Moscow.

My experience in media started in 2006, when I joined Russian news agency FederalPress as a political reporter. After a few years, I became a contributing editor.

In 2012, I received a prestigious Chevening scholarship and studied towards an MA in Journalism degree at the University of Westminster. Other awards include CEU scholarship for studies, acceptance to Alfred Friendly Press fellowship and Helsinki Espania scholarship.

I am a member of global editors network and the online journalism community. I believe that journalists can contribute to change by staying objective and building trust in what they do.
